Infrared temperature sensors measure thermal radiation emitted by a surface, using IR detectors for fast and highly accurate temperature readings.

This non-contact method makes the sensor ideal for applications involving high temperatures, high voltage, high-speed machinery or any environment where traditional temperature probes cannot be used safely.
