The inductive proximity sensor LJ12A3-4-Z/EX is a highly reliable solution designed for detecting metallic objects without physical contact.
It operates using a high-frequency electromagnetic field, ensuring precise, fast, and consistent detection in industrial automation and machinery applications.

When powered, the built-in oscillator generates an electromagnetic field at the sensing face.
If a metal target approaches, eddy currents are generated inside the metal, absorbing the field’s energy.
This change is detected by the internal circuit, which then triggers the output to switch state.

It is ideal for PLC systems, automation lines, CNC machinery, conveyors, and any application requiring accurate metal detection.
